"Dalma Olea" is multi-variety extra virgin olive oil made from handpicked olives that are grown in the unique microclimate of the island of Brač, headquartered in Pučišća. The combination of a large amount of sunlight, light rainfall, nutrient-rich soil and fresh sea salt brought by the winds provides this island with the perfect conditions for growing olives.

Our oil, smelling and tasting of fresh olives and aromatic herbs with moderate bitterness and pungency, is an ideal combination of the Oblica, Levantinka and Nostrale varieties. Each variety is harvested manually and separately when it is optimally ripe and is processed in an oil mill using solely mechanical procedures. After some time, when the oil settles, we mix it in optimal proportions, thus getting a superior quality oil.

Brač is also the island of white marble, the stone where man and stone have lived and worked together since ancient times. To that effect, we have designed a unique stone chest as a showcase for our products. It is hand made of Brač stone and olive wood, thus representing the history and tradition of Brač in one place.

Legend has it that the island of Brač is named after the Trojan warrior who moved there from the Greek island Ambratia and named the island Brachia (Brač). The history of the island is marked by an olive branch that the warrior brought with him and planted in the Brač soil. It became a symbol of the island but also one of the most important agricultural cultures. Ancient Latin thought considers the olive the 'tree of life', and it symbolizes health, wisdom and purity.
